The brief.
Build a lead-generation site for a UK damp-proofing and waterproofing services brand. Customers typically Google "damp basement help" after discovering a problem — the site needs to convert a scared homeowner into a confident booker.
What we built.
- 7 pages — home, services, areas, about, contact, thank-you, sump-pump cost calculator
- Sector-specific copy — plain-English descriptions of damp types, timeline expectations, honest pricing bands
- Trust markers — certifications, guarantees, inspection process
- Lead capture form with location and problem-type qualifiers
- LocalBusiness + Service schema for local SEO
- Google Business Profile set up with service categories, areas, opening hours

Tech stack.
Built on WordPress with a custom theme, hosted on Hostinger. Same stack as Solar Wise North. The Wise North family has been proving the WordPress + Hostinger combination can be tuned to production-grade Lighthouse scores when themes, plugins, and caching are kept lean.

Launched: April 2026. The second Wise North build — proving the template adapts cleanly from solar to damp-proofing.
