Studio
We are a four-person architectural studio in the Yorkshire Dales, working slowly on residential and small commercial projects across the North of England. We accept three to five jobs a year, and only those we can give the proper attention to.
Featured project
A single-storey limestone and dark-timber addition to a working farmhouse. The original 1840s walls remained untouched. The new room sits below the line of the field, with the fireplace tucked against the old gable.

Every project begins on the ground, on foot. We don't take a brief over email. The first conversation happens at the site, often with the client's dogs in attendance. Drawings come months later, after the place itself has had time to speak.
